Ok, let me just say I love photographing seniors! I had so much fun hanging out with Nick at this awesome farm. He made my job so easy! I had a really hard time picking just a few to post, but here are some of my favorites.
If you’ve been meaning to schedule portraits for the fall but just haven’t gotten around to it, here is your friendly reminder! Those beautiful leaves come around once a year and will be fading away soon, so if you’re wanting the beautiful fall backdrop for your photos, please schedule within the next few weeks!
I love this sign and I’m hoping it might bring a little cheer to your Monday! Now that the days are getting shorter, it’s a nice reminder to take advantage of the sunshine each and every day! It also makes me think of Caden….who makes me laugh constantly! As I type this, he is sleeping in his big boy bed for the first time! I am so proud of him. 🙂
I have posted a few color palette’s since my last post (see inspiration above), but there are more to come. I just love this time of year and all of the beautiful colors that go with it!
I also got my facebook page up yesterday! If you haven’t already, please “like” Julie Scheuler Photography (by clicking the tab above) to take advantage of monthly specials and giveaways that are only available to my facebook buddies. I’m hoping to be better at posting on this facebook page versus my personal one! 🙂 My first special will be announced on the 15th of October!
Thanks for stopping by!
It has been an exciting week so far! After working on my website for the last couple of months, I have finally gotten to the point where it is ready to share with all of you. I will be adding music, new images and products so make sure you check back often. Just click on the “website” button above or visit www.juliescheuler.com to check it out! I hope you like it.
I am also getting ready for Caden’s 2nd birthday party….I can’t believe it! It’s a small party, but I couldn’t resist the opportunity to create a custom birthday invitation. Let’s just say, Caden isn’t the easiest little guy to photograph. He’s actually by far the hardest and had a tantrum moments before this picture! lol All I can say is “thank you” to his Uncle Chad for stopping by and making him laugh so I could get this one picture. One is all it takes! I know firsthand that children will behave 100 times better for someone other than the parent, it’s just the way it is. I often ask parents to let me work with their child alone, 9 times out of 10, I have a positive experience when doing this.
Up next – I will be adding information to the “inspiration” tab above. I am currently working on some great fall color palette’s to help you coordinate your family session!
Thanks for stopping by! If you have time, I would love to hear your thoughts on my website!
Welcome to my blog! I am so excited to finally get this up and going, it has been on my to do list for awhile now. I am learning how to customize this little by little so stay tuned for new and exciting changes happening all the time! This is where I will be posting images from my recent sessions and sharing all the current events and promotions going on at Julie Scheuler Photography!
I’ll start by sharing a little about myself and how I got to where I am today. I promise to give you the quick version….from May 2002 – July 2011, I owned a photography franchise called “Lil’ Angels Photography” it was a wonderful business specializing in children photography. I learned so much and worked with some amazing people! In October 2009, our son was born and that November my husband was transferred to Springfield, IL and we moved to the Forsyth area. I was driving back and forth 3 hours trying to keep Lil’ Angels going and with a new baby at home, it was a little overwhelming to say the least. As Caden got older, the commute got harder and after 19 months of leaving home for a week at a time, multiple weeks a month……I made the decision to sell the business . I am now staying at home with our son and starting “Julie Scheuler Photography,” which I will do part time. I couldn’t be more excited to be back in my hometown and to start photographing!
There you have it….the quick version. If you are still interested to find out more about me and Julie Scheuler Photography, my website will have more info. I have been working hard to finish it and should have it up very soon now! This has been an ongoing project of mine. Many of you know….I’ve been talking about it for years. So I am super excited to almost be finished with it.
I found a new location to photograph that I am absolutely in love with!! Check out my most recent session…i usually photograph children but I had a blast photographing this handsome guy! OK, he also happens to be my younger brother (I know people will call me out on this if I don’t mention it up front). lol I needed a model and he was in town from AZ and happily volunteered. Thanks Troy! I have to say it was nice not to have to run and chase after him like some of my little ones. 🙂 It was hard to narrow down the pictures and pick only a few to post, but here are some of my favorites……
